History and ideology of firewalking

Who knows how long it has been since a human being learnt to light fire and out of awe and in adoration of life, decided to walk and dance on fire?

Everyone knows that firewalking has existed since the times when history was not recorded yet. This astonishing and life-exalting act was performed in various cultures in different ways. Some folks would accompany firewalking with drums, the others would prepare for this and other decision-making acts in silence… Firewalking would take place on red-hot stones scattered on a round-shaped ground or on a straight pathway, or on lava emerging from deep inside the earth… After fastening or in preparation for a war.

Age-old experience bears witness that firewalking has always had to do with the belief – the IMPOSSIBLE is POSSIBLE! The sick can get well, the strongest enemy can be defeated, miracles do exist. Priests, sages and shamans, that is, people who led these rituals, were aware that the secret of a human being is his ability to have faith. A human being is capable of perceiving and analyzing reality. The aim of ritual leaders was to empower the participants to alter the boundaries of reality, overcome fears and beliefs that might sometimes seem invincible. The process has always been the choice of the firewalking person himself. Free choice is the core of firewalking teaching…

Firewalking is some sort of a learning path. When decisions coincide with your own free will, the path to the goal becomes clear and easy, and fears retreat. Firewalking is learning to make the right decisions.
